Many times, people say pets are “members of the family” and they cannot even think about excluding their beloved from their wedding day plans.
Having your pet walk down the aisle is not as easy as it sounds. There needs to be someone appointed, or someone on hand, to take care of the pet. After all, pets are just like people (and sometimes children!) They need to be given both food and water, and taken from location to location.
Pets can be incorporated in the big day by adding a pet-cake topper next to the statue of the wedding couple (often found on Etsy,) pet favors such as in the shape of cookies for guests, or incorporated as a ring bearer or flower girl. Instead of a floral bouquet, sometimes brides have also opted to carry their fur ball down the aisle. After deciding who will look after the pet, with the amount of “oooohs and awwwes” the animal will receive, the only thing the couple needs to worry about is whether or not their favorite animal will steal the show.
