Kristen Ritter is the owner of a full service event planning and design company, servicing the Chicago area. Before starting her business in 2002, Kristen pursued her formal education in public relations, speech language pathology and counseling.
Kristen’s past work experience includes floral Design, ice show choreographer and interning with a Detroit based wedding planner. Kristen became interested in event planning when she worked at a floral design studio within Hudson’s Department store while attending Wayne State University in Detroit, MI.
She learned early on that the key to any successful event involves careful planning and diligent research. With so many details to consider, the most valuable component to any great event is surrounding yourself with honest, reputable and reliable service providers.
Drawing on her knowledge of wedding planning and etiquette, Kristen creates and provides newsletter content for an email subscription service for wedding planners and consultants. Kristen also contributes to newspapers and wedding magazines by providing content and advice on anything wedding and special event related.
Kristen provides a limited amount of consulting services for those looking to add or expand their business with wedding related services.
