The Vision
A French style tablescape evokes an elegant simplicity perfect for couples who desire a unique mix of the practical, comfortable and refined. The distressed wood farm tables used throughout the space are free of ornate carvings or intricate embellishments and hand distressed to create a warm patina, reflective of a lovingly aged antique. The simple and sturdy design of the tables and chairs showcases its natural mixed metallic sheen present in the surface of the wood and connects with the mixed metal colors in the antique place settings, flatware, candle operas, and fabrics. The floral vessels, mason jar favors, chalkboard place settings and artichoke menu cards add interest and depth through their varying heights, shapes and textures, while also maintaining the correct form, function and simplicity to keep guests feeling comfortable and at ease. The flowers and greenery, with their gorgeous plum roses and earthy green tones add just the right amount of 'pop' to enliven the senses, allowing guests to surrender to the beauty and timelessness of the day.
The stunning, vintage dessert table merges whimsy and precious together seamlessly with antique serving pieces, decadent desserts, nostalgic sweets and a luxurious wedding cake. I love the timeless quality of antique platters and place settings passed down from one generation to the next as it defines the beauty and art of French design and 'living the good life'. The connection of love, beauty and art from generations past, lives in the hearts of those celebrating the present and future generations of love!
