The Vision
Like a couple coming together in marriage the elements blending together in color and texture is our theme. Our color palette was inspired by the most basic elements of nature, the earth in the colors of earth brown, slate and ivory and the sky in the colors of soft blue and sunshine.Using the elegantly simple ballroom at the Double Tree Oak Brook we took these colors and transformed it into an impressionistic picture of the elements blending together. Bringing in textural elements, like the moss basket centerpiece, the crackle glass charger plate and branches on the cake, we gave a whimsical and artistic flair to a rather simple palette and idea.
