Maggiano's Little Italy was the setting and inspiration for this Autumn Romance photo shoot. Wine and grapes provided harmony throughout the room; in the flowers, the invitations, the cake, the place settings and the sweet table.

The Vision
The vision is always yours for the taking! But, you must let the space "speak to you" and above all, you must listen. One of the first and most important decisions that you will make in planning your wedding is the selection of your reception venue. And, depending on the neutrality (or lack thereof) of the décor, then, and only then, can you begin contemplating the theme, style and colors of your wedding. Ignoring the fixed elements of the venue décor can often lead to a wedding whose style and colors "clash" with the reception space.
Maggiano's Little Italy, Chicago served as the venue for our PartyScape. When I first visited the space, I felt the rich Italian heritage embodied in the dark wall paneling; the multiple sizes of wine bottles scattered throughout; and the undeniable aroma of hearty spaghetti sauce simmering in the kitchen. My mindset was grounded in Italy and hence, a Tuscany wedding celebration emerged as the theme of the PartyScape that my team would bring to life.
The possibilities were endless as I researched the elements that would reflect a romantic Tuscan party. From grapes to sunflowers, to candlelight and rich fall colors, it was not difficult to imagine why a Tuscan wedding celebration would reflect the essence of a true Autumn Romance! And as the pieces of the PartyScape came together, we knew we had achieved a success far greater than we anticipated.
As you peruse our pictures, pay close attention to the level of detail and that we strived to achieve in every aspect of the PartyScape. The element of "grapes" was woven throughout the creation. From the cake to the flowers; from the napkin holders to the name cards; from the invitation to the sweet table; an element of Tuscany charm was embodied in every aspect of our creation.
There are wedding receptions and then, there are grand celebrations that take your wedding to "that next level" of unmatched elegance. In all your planning efforts, take the time to bring your vision to life, one detail at a time, just as we did with our Autumn Romance Tuscany PartyScape!
